Planting Spinach
Spinach is planted in March-April-May and can be harvested in all months of the year. It becomes ready for harvest in 3 months. You do not need to create ridges when growing spinach. For this reason, without using a ridger, you can use any of the Kverneland brand Miniair Nova Solid and Miniair Nova Fold equipment found under the Shop, Vegetables, Vegetable Planters category.
The difference between these pieces of equipment lies in the seed hopper, working width, and required HP. Go to the Shop, Objects section, purchase a seed bag, and fill it into the equipment. We perform this operation with the R key.
For spinach planting, the field ready for planting is planted with the seed-filled vegetable planter. The keys you may need for this are: Y for Seed Selection, X to unfold the equipment if it is folded, B to power up and start the equipment, and V to lower the planter onto the field.
If you haven’t selected any seed in the equipment, this seed will be Red Beet. Therefore, to plant spinach, you need to press the Y key several times to switch the seed to be planted to spinach. Spinach Harvesting Process
When the maturation period is completed in the field where you planted spinach, the planted seeds become ready for harvest.
To buy or rent a spinach harvester, you can find the Oxbo MKB-4TR model located under Shop, Vehicles, Vegetables, Spinach Harvesters. This collects the spinach in the field as bulk.
Keys that will help when using the harvester:
With the X key, the folded harvester is unfolded.
With the B key, the harvester is started.
With the V key, the front collection arm is lowered into position.
With the O key, when the hopper is full, it lifts up to unload into the trailer.
When the spinach harvester’s hopper is full, you can transfer the accumulated spinach to the trailer.
Spinach brings in the highest earnings in August. It fetches the lowest price in March. For this reason, timing your harvest to coincide with August, September, and October months will allow you to earn maximum money from this product.
