How to Do Beekeeping in FS25? Beekeeping Guide

Beekeeping, which was added to the series with Farming Simulator 22, is also a valid sub-profession in FS25. If you are looking for an answer to the question of how to do beekeeping in FS25, you are in the right place. In the game, you can place beehives near fields to increase the yield of certain crops. Beehives start producing honey in the spring months with the blooming of flowers. Honey production continues until the leaves fall in autumn. Honey cannot be produced during the winter months.

How to Place a Beehive on Your Land?

To place a beehive on your land, press the “P” key and proceed to the Construction menu under the Other tab.

Click on the Animal Buildings section (the cow icon is on the left side) and proceed to the Bees tab. From here, select the beehive you want to place and click on the location where you want to place it.

Placing a Location for Honey Jars

In the same section, you need to place a location where the honey produced by the bees will be stored as pallets. This location does not have to be close to the beehives.

Transporting the Produced Honey

Honey jars accumulate in pallets. To lift this pallet, you need a Forklift or a front loader pallet carrier vehicle. With the help of this vehicle, the pallet can be transferred to a pickup truck or trailer and transported to the desired location.

When Should Honey Be Sold?

The most profitable time to sell produced honey is in March. Since March is the beginning of spring, and honey is not produced in December, January, and February, the price peaks at this time. In March, the price of honey will start to decline. The cheapest month is August.

Which Crops Do Beehives Affect?

Beekeeping is not a profession that can be carried out on its own in the game. The main purpose of adding it to the game is to increase the harvest yield of certain crops and products. It has also been added for farmers who aim to earn extra income by selling honey. If you place a beehive next to a field and plant Canola, Potato, or Sunflower in that field, the harvest yield you get from that field will increase.

Should You Sell Honey Directly or Process It?

You can sell honey directly at sales points, or you can set up a Cereal Factory, process it, and sell it at a higher price.

Processing and selling a product is always more profitable, but honey alone is not enough for a cereal factory to operate at full capacity. If you plan to produce other products such as Raisins, Corn, Rice, Long Grain Rice, Chocolate, and Oats, then processing and selling would be more sensible.
