FS25 Field Info Explained
Field Info is the information screen that appears when you approach a field and contains many details about that field. Here you will see many details such as whether the field needs plowing, the weed status, the yield, the fertilization status, and the lime requirement. We prepared this guide so you can be ready for the details you will encounter.
Farmland

This is the field number. Every field on the map has a number, and this number appears next to Farmland on the info card.
Owned By
This is the area where the owner’s name of the field is shown. On fields that belong to you, it shows “You” here. On fields that do not belong to you and belong to NPCs on the map, the names of those NPCs are shown.
Needs Plow

If this warning is on the info screen, you need to plow the field with a plow. If this warning is shown there and you did not use a plow, yield drops by 15%.
When you plant root crops (Potatoes, Beets, etc.), you need to plow the field again after harvest. If you grow cereals (Wheat, Barley, etc.), you need to plow with a plow after every 3 harvests.

Press the ESC key > Settings tab > If Periodic Plowing Required is off, the plowing warning goes away. You will not lose yield.
Needs Lime

The soil works hard to grow the crop on it. Because of this, the soil’s pH value drops after every harvest. After every 3 harvests you may see the Needs Lime warning. In that case, buy a spreader from the shop and lime the soil to adjust the pH level.
Needs Rolling

This warning appears after seeding and reminds you to cover the seeds spread on the field with soil using a roller. If you do this, you gain a 2.5% yield bonus and the warning goes away.
Weed (Growing)

This warning means weeds are also growing together with the crop you planted. You can remove the weeds with a hoe. Shop > Weeders

Weed (Partial)
This warning means there are weeds on the field, but they have not fully spread across the field yet. You should still take action. It is usually fixed with a hoe. Shop > Weeders
Weed (Small)
This warning shows that weeds are also growing together with the crop. If the required action is not taken, it seriously reduces the field’s yield. The word Small shows that it is still at an early stage. For this, you can kill the weeds with a weeder and a tractor with narrow tires. At this stage you can use herbicide. It will have the same effect.
Weed (Medium)

This means the weeds have taken over the field and yield is seriously affected. At this stage, if it shows Hoe next to it, you can clear them using the only hoe in the shop: Shop > Weeders > Pöttinger Rotocare V 12400. If you do this, the lost yield comes back. But if you solve it by spraying with a sprayer, you only get half of the lost yield back.
Weed (Large)

The weeds have now grown too big to be handled with a hoe. The only solution is to use weed killer. A sprayer with herbicide will solve the weed problem.
Fertilized: 0% – 50% – 100%
This information shows the fertilization status of the field. If it says 0%, it has not been fertilized at all yet. If it says 50%, fertilizer has been applied once. If it says 100%, the field has been fertilized 2 times and no longer needs fertilizing.
Growth: Growing – Ready to Harvest – Withered
This information shows the status of the crop planted on the field. If it says Growing, the planted crop is growing. If it says Ready to Harvest, it can be harvested. If it says Withered, the harvest time has passed and the crop has withered. You can plow it again with a plow or pull a cultivator.
Crop Type
This shows the crop planted on the field. It shows crop names such as Wheat, Barley, Canola, Peas. This information is only given on fields that have been planted.
Yield Bonus
When you complete all field preparation properly and fully, and fertilize enough, you can reach a maximum of 100% bonus. The information where you can track this bonus rate is also given in the Field Info area.
