How to Maximize Store Profit in Big Ambitions
If you want to get maximum profit from the stores you open in Big Ambitions, product demand, store location, employee skills, prices, and customer satisfaction all matter a lot. If you keep every multiplier at a high level, you will get the most profit from your store. We have listed what you need to do under each heading.
Big Ambitions will launch as the full version on August 28. If anything changes, we will update this article.
Store Location
If you are going to open a store, it helps to check how many stores of the same type there are in that area. This matters a lot because you will be in direct competition. For example, if you want to open a Fast Food Restaurant and there are 5 Fast Food Restaurants in the same neighborhood, customers will be split between them. The less competition there is, the higher your customer count will be.
Store Size

Store size matters just as much as store location. Opening a store in a large building means more hourly Customer Capacity. That is why you should rent stores with at least 30 Customer Capacity instead of 15. If you want higher income, rent a store with 75 Customer Capacity.
Store Interior

The more expensive the walls and floor tiles/parquet in your store are, the more customers will like the store. Take decoration seriously. Keep your Interior Score high. My recommendation is to use an interior installation firm (they set up the whole store for you from start to finish with ready-made blueprints). For a retail store, Kristian Bahood handles this for you.
Employee Training
Train the employees you hire in jobs such as Customer Service and Cleaning until their skills reach 100%. Customers prefer staff who provide good service.
Uniforms

Having staff wear uniforms in stores is important for customer satisfaction. That is why you need to buy a uniform locker from the AJ Pederson & Son appliance store, place it in your store, then go to BizMan > Settings > Set Up Uniforms and create a default or store-specific uniform and assign it to your employees.
Restroom
A restroom is one of the must-haves in a store. No matter what type of store it is, restrooms are required in office and retail stores. Otherwise, customer satisfaction drops. That is why you should install restrooms in the stores you build based on store size.
Security
Security matters in most retail store types. Otherwise, theft will cut into your profit. For security, you can use security cameras and hire Security Guards.
Music System

Customers do not like quiet stores. I do not know if there is scientific proof that it affects shopping, but your store should definitely have speakers. At the very least, it stops customers from complaining that the place is too quiet and has a positive effect on customer satisfaction.
Cleanliness
Keeping the store clean at all times is important. Every customer who walks in makes the store dirtier. That is why it is important to hire employees who handle cleaning.
24/7

The longer a store stays open, the more customers it serves. That is why you should set up 2 or 3 shifts and keep the store open every day, including weekends. Even though this means higher employee costs, it is a move that will significantly increase profit.
Marketing

Running ads for your store all the time means constantly gaining new customers. That is why you should work with City Ads and run your store ads on billboards across the city.
Getting Products to Sell at the Lowest Price
I would actually say this is the most important heading. The cheaper you buy a product, the more profit you make when you sell it. Importers let you buy goods much cheaper than wholesale stores, even though they come with setup and management costs, if you are running a chain of stores.
