FS25 Grape Vineyard Guide
In Farming Simulator 25 you can grow grapes and produce grape juice and raisins. Orchard work cannot use hired workers, so the workload is heavier – but costs are lower. You do not keep spending on seeds. Once the vines are planted, regular care lets you harvest for years.
Because the working space is narrow and compact, equipment costs are also lower. There is no herbicide expense, and fertilizer use is low. That makes profitability much higher.

Grape Vine Planting Season: March – April – May
Growth Time: 6 months

Outside the months above, you cannot place vines on any land. The land does not need to be a prepared field. To create a vineyard, open the Construction menu – Production tab – Orchards (Cultivation).

After placing the vines, apply the first fertilizer. For this we use the Hardi Mercury 4000L (4 m working width, only one row) from Shop – Grape Tools. You can use it to apply liquid fertilizer and spray treatments.

The following month, for the second fertilizer pass, we use the Berthoud WinAir 1000 sprayer, which can cover 3 rows (9.5 m working width) of planted vines. The grapes have started to green up.
To reach maximum yield, you need two fertilizer applications.

Weeds start to grow. You cannot apply herbicide in a vineyard. Instead, you can mulch and cultivate between the rows.
Tip: With a single tractor, attach the TMC Cancela TPN 140 to the front PTO and the Agrisem Disc-O-Vigne V at the rear to mulch and cultivate the vineyard row spaces in one pass.

Fully ripe grapes turn purple. You will also see ?Ready to Harvest? on the field info panel. Buy a grape harvester to harvest the grapes.
X – Prepares the harvester for picking (unfold).
B – Starts the harvest.

I – Unloads grapes from the hopper (you need to be next to a grape trailer).

Right after the September–October harvest season – whether you harvested or not – the vineyard becomes covered with yellowed leaves. If those leaves are not cleared with a leaf cutter / pre-pruner, the vineyard will not produce grapes next season.
For this job, if you use a wide enough tractor, you can mount a Provitis MP 122 OCEA pre-pruner on both the front and rear hitch and prune the left and right vineyard rows in one go.

For fertilizing, mulching, and cultivating, narrow tractors are important. To work inside the rows, use narrow models such as the Landini Rex 4 GT, Fendt 200 V Vario, Antonio Carraro Tony 10900 TTR, and Mach 4R.
You cannot hire workers for any vineyard tasks. You have to do every job yourself.
Harvested grapes can be processed at a Grape Processing Unit into grape juice and raisins.

Maximizing Profit from Grapes
If you do not want to process your grapes yourself, you can sell them at a sell point. Every product in the game can be sold at a sell point. Selling grapes in May – when demand is highest – maximizes profit. In September, grapes sell at their lowest price.

Even so, processing the grapes before selling them is the way to earn the highest profit.
